1. Understand the game first
Start with the genre, controls and objective. Look for a gameplay demo and see if the game suits your time and device. The presence of a token does not explain what the playing experience is like.
2. Understand how the game uses blockchain
Web3 games can use different blockchains. The chosen network and what is recorded on it vary depending on the project: they can be items, currencies or part of the game rules. Having NFTs does not mean that all matches take place on the blockchain. Consult the title's documentation to understand which features use the network and which ones work on the game's servers.
3. Check account, wallet and network
Access can use email, social account, wallet or a combination of these options. Some games integrate the wallet with the registration; others let you connect a compatible wallet. Check the network used, the recovery options and whether there are fees for the actions you intend to carry out. Don't assume that a wallet or item from another game will be compatible: follow the official instructions for each title.
4. Separate experience from reward
Evaluate whether the matches remain interesting without temporary promotions. Season rules and participation conditions may change. This guide helps organize game discovery; does not indicate the purchase of tokens or NFTs.
